Don't miss our Mociun Pop-Up Sale - Up to 75% off until July 29

Ethical fashion fans will be more than familiar with designer Caitlin Mociun's eponymous collection of ethical dresses and separates. Now, for one week only, until July 29, we're holding a Pop-Up Sale on Caitlin's classic pieces, with up to 75% discount on many items.

The beauty of Mociun, beyond the use of eco fabrics such as organic cotton, yak and hemp, is Caitlin's flair for colour and graphic prints. Her Caravan and Argan tie-front dresses suit perfectly this season's key modern tribal print trend.

A favourite amongst cult fashion editors in the US and Europe, aesthetes and fellow designers, Mociun has featured in Dwell, Nylon and Vision magazines, amongst other cool titles. Vision went so far as to call Caitlin an "eccentric genius", and take it from us that's a compliment. With her handle on print, we're inclined to agree.

Visit the Mociun Pop-Up Sale now. On for one week only!

Born in Nevada City, California, Caitlin travelled the world with her family from the age of 12, stopping off in Kuala Lumpur and Prague before settling to study textile design at Rhode Island School of Design. Her work centres on hand-drawn illustration, the likes of which you could never find in mass-produced collections. Every piece has Caitlin's hand on it.

Inspiration comes from her nomadic childhood, art, literature and the natural world, and the collections have wonderful names, from The Cabinet Of Natural Curiosities to Judas And The Chocolate Grinder.

DeviDoll sells Mociun exclusively in the UK. Globally, the collection can be found in the most stylish boutiques from Brooklyn to Tokyo. These are beautiful pieces for stylish women who appreciate design flair and great quality.

Visit the Mociun Pop-Up Sale now. On for one week only!

Early birds to our Pop-Up Sale will have a rare chance to add Caitlin's Silk Muumuu dress (Mischa Barton bought four), £51.25 down from £205, Mesh Back dress, £50 down from £200, and Button-Up Dress, £66 down from £183, to their wardrobes. These are timeless Mociun pieces worthy of the space.

Caitlin's graphic print t-shirts, too, are mini works of art in their own right and this writer's favourite. For an astonishing £12 snap up the Boyfriend Bauhaus Tee, down from £40, or Aero Tee, down from £58. For only a few pounds more is the Trading Post Tee, £16 down from £40. These are investment buys, without the investment prices.

Stocked up with dresses and t-shirts already? Choose from jeans, shorts and shirts too, including the Paperbag shorts that made it into Greenmystyle.com editor Sarah Woodhead's Top 5 Picks from our Summer Sale, now £44 down from £118.

Why the Pop-Up Sale? We're making room for the new pieces of course!

Top picks for poolside glamour

It's nearly August, the peak of the summer holiday season, and we're dreaming of escaping the city (by train of course), to a relaxing idyll. In the picture is an infinity pool, a sun lounger, blue sky, gentle sunshine, a breeze in the palm trees, a tower of books to plough through, never-ending iced fruit smoothies and...the perfect poolside wardrobe!

Just because we've put our hectic city life on hold for a while, we won't be putting our ethics on hold. Our ideal holiday is carbon-light, and preferably in a location where the local community benefits directly from tourism. Our suitcase, too, will include ethical fashion items and natural and organic beauty products. Here are three essential items we won't be leaving home without, plus complementary poolside pieces to inspire you...

1. Mociun Zigzag swimsuit, £70.40 reduced from £88
Mociun creates the most wonderful graphic prints and illustrations on summer dresses and t-shirts. It's swimwear follows its inimitable styling, and this Zigzag swimwuit is in one of the season's most popular patterns. It features as a Top 10 Swimwear pick on daily eco glossy Greenmystyle.com too. Caitlin Mociun, designer and founder of the label, uses fabulous sustainable and eco fabrics including yak, hemp, organic cotton and more.

2. Viridis Luxe Skinny Strap Banded Dress, £152 reduced from £190
We love this Viridis Luxe dress because it's one of those perfectly versatile pieces that make travelling light a little more achievable. Yes, even for the most stylish amongst us! This bamboo and cotton jersey dress would look adorable popped over a bikini for the trip from poolside to bar, or simply dress it up with barely-there heels and gold jewellery for evening. Viridis Luxe is highly desirable ethical fashion, featuring ecologically superior hemp with silk, bamboo and organic cotton, and it's well worth snapping up a bargain when available.

Greenmystyle.com editor Sarah picks her top five items from our Summer Sale

Guest editor Sarah Woodhead, editor of leading daily eco glossy Greenmystyle.com, popped by this week to choose her favourite pieces from our new Summer Sale. We're a big fan of Greenmystyle.com as the magazine regularly features our items in its fashion editorial!

Sarah writes: The sun is shining and our summerwear has broken free from our wardrobes. The editorial team is styled in a flurry of colour, florals and prints as our safe spring neutrals are swapped for pretty summer dresses, bright and light accessories and separates to stay colourful and cool in. There's boho going on, a touch of Eighties glam, and even a bit of beach party.

We love this time of year, and not just for the Summer fashion free-for-all and the Pimm's. There's a buzz in the air about the great bargains to be had in the Summer Sales, of course!
On the high street the Sales can be a time of mindless spending on more mass-produced stuff to chuck to the bottom of the wardrobe without wearing, and we definitely don't support that old-fashioned behaviour. Instead, we advocate using the Summer Sales as a time to invest in long-lasting quality ethical pieces that might be a little beyond your budget at other times.

It's fine to mix in a little fashionable fun, but our tip would be to look for classic items that will live on long after the Sale banners have come down. DeviDoll is a great place to start. Here are my five picks from the DeviDoll Summer Sale. You may also like to see DeviDoll's own Top 30 picks.

1. Doie bubble skirt dress, £36 reduced from £102
In the softest bamboo jersey this Doie summer dress is the perfect piece for dressing up or down. I'd be tempted to wear this with heaps of brightly-coloured clashing necklaces, of varying lengths, turning this versatile summer dress into a show-stopper.
The colour is on-trend with this season's brights, and is flattering to all skin-tones. Plus, who doesn't love a summer dress at less than £50?!
Pop a tee or blouse over the top, with a waisted belt, and transform the look.

2. Panda Snack ruffle flower tank
Basics that have a feminine flourish always catch my eye. I can often feel a tad too dressed down in a simple vest so I tend to look for interesting prints and patterns or dress up with accessories.
This Panda Snack tank does the work for me with its delicate ruffle flower. I'd throw this on with summer jeans or cotton pants, layered over a contrasting colour, and feel just that necessary style edge.

3. AOKI Mandy jeans, £65, reduced from £135
Ok, I have to admit I already own these jeans, but if I didn't they'd be the first item in my shopping basket. They are just about the most comfortable jeans I have, in a light enough denim to cope with a little summer sun.
The straight leg is flattering and they pass the all-important bum test with flying colours. A little secret, because they aren't desperately low-slung they make a wonderful choice if you have a little tum.
The AOKI Mandy jean is a perfect example of a Summer Sale investment buy. You'll wear these jeans for years.

4. Mociun Paperbag shorts, £44, down from £118
I love these cute shorts from Mociun. I'd style them with a nod to Eighties glamour. If I had Giselle's legs I'd be wearing them with towering heels (perhaps these Beyond Skin Sui Generis peep-toes, with an unmissable 75% off), a light billowy blouse, tucked in to accentuate the nipped-in high waist, and oversized bangles and necklace. An essential accessory would be an application of organic fake tan, with no chemical nasties, picked from Greenmystyle.com's Top 10 Natural Fake Tan Guide.
They would also look fab styled nautically, with a stripey tee and cute white pumps - that's a summer style perenial you can rely on year after year.

5. Nahui Ollin Buckle Ritual bag, £37, reduced from £140
Every year I see gorgeously stylish girls sporting metallic day bags with their pretty summer outfits and think how spot-on they look, as I sheepishly hide my wintery brown leather tote behind my back. Metallics never fail to look glamorous and feminine.
The Nahui Ollin Buckle ritual bag, like all Nahui Ollin pieces, is entirely hand-made by specially folding and weaving individual candy wrappers, gum wrappers and soda bottle labels that are factory rejects from independent manufacturers and have never been used. These 'surplus' materials are diverted away from landfill to be made into the funkiest accessories by independant families in Mexico, under fair-wage conditions. No seriously stylish ethical wardrobe should be without one.
